Funny thing about gasoline and car 'explosions' is that they aren't usually explosions. They're deflagrations. And it's also surprisingly hard to get properly contained gasoline to properly 'explode'.
But yes, you will just douse the car quickly with excess gas probably right after the crash as the vapours are highly combustible creating a similar effect.

You could also do that mini-9/11 IRS incident where that guy was all pissed off and flew a private plane into a building killing only himself type of thing (I think).
But to make it a quadruple you could also load the plane with excess fuel tanks, fireworks, rigs loaded with fentanyl, a chambered gun, and maybe a blow-up doll for shits and giggles and fly it into a very high likely abandoned skyscraper.
