Tolerance is a myth.

It is an oxymoron. Underneath the idea of tolerance there is the idea of intolerance, there is the idea of oppression, there is the idea of superiority.

Because if you are at a position to decide whether or not you should be tolerant, you are the oppressor. You are actively deciding the levels of oppression that you will impose on other people. This puts you at a place of authority.

Thus when you hear that a woman is tolerating her rapist, the woman is the oppressor. The woman gets to choose the level of oppression this man will face. Simultaneously this has nothing to do with rape or somebody's feelings. It's about an invisible but very observable hierarchical Power dynamic in our modern society, solely based on gender.

She yields power over the supposed "oppressor", while the oppressor projects her own superiority towards the enemy because if you are the oppressor, there is no sympathy for you.

Each person has their own individual personality and simply because one female doesn't necessarily enjoy your presence doesn't mean someone else won't; I would suggest that perhaps you examine your own behavior and personality rather then categorizing everyone of a specific gender group together simply because different people react differently.Additionally, you'll benefit much more from "Academic" knowledge rather then unnecessarily obsessing over the opposite gender.
