I've considered that as an option, but my subhuman face and skull shape become even more apparent that way and it doesn't help if I'm with a hood over my head. The only winning move for me is to stay inside as much as possible.

I understand how you feel. I used my hair fairly long for like 80% of the time when I still had it, helped covering skull and ear areas.

But even I, as a tallfag, was once made fun of by an old man when I was like 14 when I had long hair. He said he was about to give me a flower because he thought I was a girl.

I don't go out unless I absolutely have to and it still manages to happen to me. It's complete LDARfuel because if I truly did LDAR, I would be able to stay at home 24/7.
