It's ok if you have an actual treatable mental illness. It's shit if your only issue is inceldom induced depression, because nobody there can help you.
I would literally prefer being in one, but it's not even an option for me here

ya back in 2010 when I was 15,
wanted to kill myself cuz I was short and had zero friends, so police took me from my house and sent me to a ward
I asked the doctors there if I could get on hgh, but they refused
Its very hard to get approved to leave these places,
you have to take all the meds they want you to take,
many of the other patients there are crazy and want to start fights with you,
but if you fight you'll stay at the instituton indefinitly
I hated it there,
I got out by being super NT, and not talking to anyone except the staff.
The free food was decent though

The irony is that if you were given HGH at 15 you probably wouldn't even be on this forum now.
It's honestly tragic. HGH should be given to all manlets whose growth plates haven't yet closed by the government.
came pretty close tbh. I got careless when talking to irl people a couple times. incautiously said something about wanting to kill myself or whatever and in both instances the cops came to my house for some bullshit "wellness check". I knew they were just trying to goad me in to saying something they could use to institutionalize me so I acted accordingly and tried to end that interaction as quickly as possible
hate the idea of being sent to one of those places tbh. don't want to be separated from my bed and copes + it would get in the way of my academic stuff. even if I was in a dead end job wagecucking 24/7 they'd probably force me to take pills and shit and I want no part of that
