why do i act like a spastic unless im on <4 hours of sleep?

This applies to when im outside. I act extremely neurotic and im very aware of my surroundings unless im on <4 hours of sleep. On little sleep, I literally dont give a fuck and i feel so calm. I was on the bus and I didn't give a shit about anyone else. What causes this?

are there any drugs that can emulate this? i think ill have to take them just to do normal things outside lol. I tried not wearing a mask and walking around but it didn't do shit. I was already neurotic before lockdown anyways.

Maybe low dose xanax or GABA supplement if you want to stay legal
