Seriously, what's the point of rotting?

Why let inceldom, caused by things beyond your control, affect the aspects of your life that you can control, at least to some extent?

Even if you're doomed to die in inceldom, how exactly does rotting help your situation?

Isn't it better to work towards improving the quality of your life? (I'm not suggesting you do so to get a GF but only so you can live comfortably).

For the record, I'm not looking down on or judging rotters. I'm just curious about their philosophy.

Sometimes it seems like you have no choice, but to rot because you’re so demoralized from failure after failure after failure to turn things around. I’ve become very cynical and bitter towards self help and self improvement because I never got much of any results from it. Couldn’t even help me quit porn which is a big thing with those type of gurus. You see them with their YouTube thumbnails making funny faces with a bottle of lotion and tissues beside them and it’s like yeah this a scam artist.

Because rotting is comfy. And self improvement is pointless for me.

Same, however I only want to self improve because I have a curiosity of what could be and it's only for my own feelings and not for anybody else's desire of what I should be
