depends on the culture, really. in a more traditional, patriarchal culture where foids are segregated or kept down, guys can easily be friends and will have grown up around each other.

guys can be friends more easily, because they're not naturally as bitchy as foids, and they're not as demanding

but yeah, in Western co-ed culture, where guys are exposed to a foid-centric culture from an early age, they're unlikely to have meaningful friendships. in fact, most Western males are just diluted foids
 
it's not only in the West
it's spreading, obviously, but there's many places in the East where genders are recognized as different and keep apart from each other more
