Yup. To put it all into perspective, they literally lived in a generation where it was easier to throw cars away or let them rot rather than selling them. Hence why a lot of '67-'71 GM muscle cars are rare as fuck to find in good condition nowadays. Most Plymouth Superbirds that have been found in the past decade were rotting in some Boomer's barn, even though they were probably less than a couple grand in that Boomer's time, and when the Superbirds get sold, the Boomer gets an easy $100,000+ for his rotting car that was sitting in a barn for the past forty years. That itself summarizes the Boomer life, where they basically got free shit handed to them, they got to live through the best times in the West's history (besides the whole drafted to Vietnam thing), which is why they are so myopic when it comes to analyzing the current situation regarding the state of dating with modern men. Now all the younger folks are wageslaving for their Medicaid and Social Security, all the while growing up in a poorer and less favorable environment, a hellscape packed to the brim with depressing, empty strip malls every square mile, suburbanite shitholes where you absolutely need to drive a car to get places, the lack of greenery absolutely everywhere -- the environment that the Boomers created, while refusing to give us the same environment which they grew up in.
