Here's my advice for youngcells.
If you aren't going to college (I recommend college), pick out a trade school or community college training that will get you a secure, skill-based job.
If you are going to college, DO NOT PICK YOUR MAJOR ON WHAT YOU WANT TO STUDY. Pick your major on the possible career paths that you want. If you are going to study Philosophy and go into probably at least 60,000 of debt (unless you got a full ride and you commute), make sure you know what the fuck you are going to do with that, either going to get a masters or PhD in something, medical school, law school, etc.
