Coach Red Pill on the Loose, Says He was Tortured by “Ukrainians”

Andrew Anglin August 1, 2023

I am glad the Coach is still alive. I never had a problem with the guy. Some people said he talked a bunch a shit about me, but a lot of people try to do that to try to get me to respond so they can get more popular. I can actually respect that – I did it to people bigger than me when I was not the biggest celebrity on the internet.
That said, the fact he got kidnapped by the SBU isn’t exactly surprising. He was living in the Ukraine going around talking about how it was a totally lawless authoritarian country where people just get kidnapped constantly. And really, there was no reason for him to be living there after a certain point – he wasn’t really doing “on the ground” type reporting after he’d established himself as an expert. He was sort of just streaming from his apartment.
So, you take risks, and things happen. That’s life. You have to gauge these risks. I’m not going to cry for a grown man who makes risky decisions and ends up facing consequences he knew were on the table.

You won’t catch me living in the United States saying the things I say about that government, I can tell you that much. I believe in things, and I believe in fighting for the things I believe, but I do not believe in taking stupid risks for little or no gain. Again, I’m not against adult men choosing to take those kinds of risks. These are the decisions we make as adults.
Honestly, the fact he got kidnapped and tortured makes him a bigger celebrity, and I’m not sure that wasn’t part of the plan from the beginning.
Again, I’m not saying anything bad about the guy, I’m just talking about the situation. Everyone makes decisions, everyone takes risks, everyone gauges whether those risks are worth the potential benefit.
Frankly, the fact they didn’t kill him really means the gambit paid off.
I’m glad he made it. He’s always been a fun internet personality.
This thread was a bit long through, I thought.

But they can save him!
