Desktop turns on but nothing appears on screen

My monitor works fine. Also, my wireless usb that i use to connect to my router usually flashes when my computer is turned on, and now it isn't.

Check cables. Try another monitor, just in case. My first guess would be a faulty power supply. It could also be the processor or the mainboard.
