i don't pets are disgusting and needs a lot of food i am barely able to feed myself

I have 2 cats. It's definitely worth it. They help when i feel lonely and just improve my mood over all. Cats require less work and attention than dogs, but dogs force you to move around and go outside (I had both). But only get a pet if you think you're responsible enough to take care of it.
