Like they should be allowed to live somewhere without paying rent and the landlord can't throw them out.
Ok fine, times are tough and landlords should do their share to help out.

One problem with extending moratorium is smaller landlords going bankrupt and corporate ghouls hovering them all up, I'm just impressed the American political system fucked this up so comprehensively. The government here paid 80% of people's wages to stay at home so rent assistance was unnecessary.
