But when that happens I just try to remind myself that most homicides are drug related
Or you get killed off by someone in your family
If someone was going to invade your home they're most likely to do it to steal- which they would do in broad daylight while everyone is gone from the house
So as long as you don't join a gang or have crazy acquaintances you'll probably be fine
