I am on a diet and I was expecting to lose 2lbs a week. I read that a pound of fat is 3500 calories so this seems more difficult than it sounds. To lose 2 pounds a week you need to be at a 7000 calorie deficit per week, that is 1000 per day. So if your body burns 2500 per day you need to be eating 1500 per day. That isn't as easy as it sounds, just one sandwich is close to 500 calories.
By the looks of things it is more realistic that it could take me 2 years to lose 100lbs if I lost a pound a week.

To even start losing weight you need to know if your hormones are in check and check your vitamin and mineral levels, if they are not in order you can literary starve to death and not lose an single lb. I cant lose weight, its impossible, i go a week eating ~500 calories a day and not losing weight. While when i was younger i lost around 50 pounds in 3 months.

That being said, once your body becomes adapted to burn fat it goes quicker, one year imo.

find things that are low calorie and high in volume. vegetables are good for this, and are also rich in nutrients so you wont be malnourished. like a big bag of broccoli is only 120 calories. when i lost 70 lbs, i would also make egg sandwiches with 45 calorie wheat bread with lots of fiber and protein. two egg sandwiches with two eggs each is like 480 calories.
 
Best way to lose weight is to cut out both fat, and carbs completely, eat meat and eggs and you will lose weight fast.
 
Took me like 8 months to a year to lose around 80+ But i was eating carbs and sugar

so probably 10 months if you dont mess up
 
Once you lose your water weight expect to lose 10 pounds a month.

Fasting plus keto I average about 5lbs week.

i lost one kilo a week by only eating once on mondays wednesday and fridays,a cheat day usually on saturday and on the rest of the weeks i would eat around 1300-1500 calories depending on how fat i was.
 
Go for walks every now and then. Also cut down on carbs. Intermittent fasting helps too.
 
Ride your bike or walk, but the most important thing is to consume less calories. Its way too hard to burn them off. Also look into fasting or at least intermittent fasting. Your body starts burning fat after 16 hours of no food. I recommend not eating all day until the evening so you dont have to fall asleep hungry which sucks ass

Laxative diet. Take laxatives and shit your brains out for a day. Apparently you will lose a few pounds.

I hear drinking lots of caffeinated drinks such as coffee can help you from putting on weight, you end up shitting it all out before you've absorbed all the nutrients and fat. I put on weight when I stopped drinking caffeine so maybe it'll help you in reverse.

Drinking a lot of caffeine is bad, it will make you very anxious and more likely to gain weight.
