If Hungary is with Russia in the war, ok then its the sovereign choice of the Hungarian government. But then Hungary is enjoying the benefits of being in the West, like free trade with all the Western countries. The Hungarian government is also being defended by NATO, such as against possible civil war in Hungary. And yes if Hungary was on the other side in a war, the Western countries could get behind opposition movements in Hungary with weaponry, ammo, supplies, mercenaries and money.
