As you know, I make many posts about depression, about finding everything pointless and boring. About having no activities that I find fun or interesting so I just rot in bed watching sitcoms and browsing the internet. And about how I can't even play games cause I uninstall them after a few minutes.
Well, I think I finally have a tip. It won't get you over your depression but it will make you comfy. If you are like me and you find nothing interesting or fun, if nothing seems to give you the dopamine you crave, if you uninstall games and give up on things easily.
Here's the tip: have a lot of options. Install a lot of games, don't delete any of them if they're not genuinely shit. Install good-rated games and don't uninstall them no matter what. Have like 20 games installed, if your hard drive isn't that big just install high quality indie games like I do. Other than that, browse r/moviesuggestions and the equivalent for TV or anime.
And here's what you do: play a game for however long your attention span/energy/interest that are limited by depression allows you. 5 minutes? Fine, play for 5 minutes but don't uninstall the game. Once you're tired of the game, quickly throw yourself at another activity. Maybe another one of the games you have installed, you do have like 20 after all. With the variety of games it's much easier to have at least a little bit of fun. Don't want games? Watch a movie, or anime, or TV show. If you can only watch it for 5 minutes, that's fine, browse some websites intermittently, but at least have the option of many games installed.
Anyway, lastly: https://lookmovie.ag/ and https://igg-games.com/pc-games-igg-list.html for movies and games respectively, all free.
TLDR: Install a bunch of highly rated games, don't uninstall them no matter what, watch a lot of movies and TV intermittently. Doesn't matter if you can only play stuff for 5 minutes, have them installed.
