Care to elaborate? I feel that OC and general creativity suddenly, quickly and coincidentally died out in most people a couple of years ago and cant exactly pinpoint how. Everything feels stale now.

People I have talked to, theorized that creativity has fallen amongst people who consume too much visual media(games, manga,movies, Netflix etc.) and do an insufficient amount of self-learning. Their brain never needs to visualize or imagine anything for entertainment. Any question they need help with, they don't attempt to come up with their own solution and search it up.

Now long term this has probably led to a decrease in the neurons/brain matter needed for creative tasks.
