Marxism, and the descendants based on his idea, has failed miserably everytime and everywhere it has been tried. The basic idea in Marxism is that the current capitalistic state is overthrown, then workers establish the dictatorship of the proletariat, and in many years, the state and nation can finally be scrapped, along with money and class.
The 'utopia' of many communists is a world without countries, because many believe in internationalism that if the capitalistic countries exist, then they could 'corrupt' the 'utopia'.
The much regarded Marxism-Leninism and ML-Maoism is funny and ironic at times. Leninism added the idea of Vanguardism, in which a small group of 'elites' can bring others to follow the party. Maoism tells that you don't need to be industrialized before attempting that shit. Everyone knows what happened in these countries.
In a hypothetically working, post-revolution state, they pretty much return to elites leading the masses, does people actually think that the super rich elites in communist parties will actually give up their wealth and pursue the "let's go collective" dream?
I think Marxism's idea of revolution is a trap. That's why reddit commies' discussion are full of incomprehensible jargons, muuuh historical revisionism muuuh materialism and sheet.
