They cannot imagine what it's like to wake up every morning knowing that you will never have happiness or achieve your hopes or dreams and there was never anything you could have done about it. They don't understand what it's like to be completely fucked and no amount of effort will help you. Add on top of that the fact that you see nearly everyone around you achieve the things you dream about without even trying and it stings even more.

Many of them do understand they just don’t care about us. You underestimate just how big of a portion of people are sadistic, heartless fuckers that care about no one but themselves. They know ugly men suffer but they benefit from it so they are just fine with it
