Realised something while watching American Beauty (1999, spoilers)) last night.

For those who haven't seen it, it's about a middle aged oldcel who has a midlife crisis and falls in love with his daughter's JB friend and he tries to bang her throughout the movie, and eventually comes close to it. The only reason why he doesn't is his own choice.

But the thing I realised when watching it is even though this film isn't that old, there was absolutely no kind of suggestion that it's morally wrong, or that it's unusual for him to feel that way. It's basically proof of the fucking obvious (but for some reason denied today) that 16-17 y/o girls are obviously fucking hot and straight men want to sleep with them. I don't want to make this one of those threads where incels cry about the age of consent, it just stood out to me that things have changed so much in ~20 years. Imagine if that film was made today, you can see rage/headlines now. PRO PAEDOPHILE MOVIE, SHOCK, CANCEL AMERICAN BEAUTY!!!1 etc. Yet in 1999 this was still seen as being completely normal, as it is.

It truly is a very modern phenomenon how men pretend late teen girls are innocent asexual children JFL. "It just so happens that I am only attracted to girls exactly above the government mandated age of consent!!!". Fucking lol. It kind of reminds me of tranny acceptance/normalisation. I am one of those incels that cry about the age of onsent because theire raising it up as we speak. And it should be around 13-14 and not more otherwise you are mixing pedophilia with things that are not.
