What are people's experiences with this?
I feel like... even though I've lived in shared accommodation (houseshares and such, with a landlord) for most of my life, I am still learning about them all the time.
When I used to live with students it was 99% fine. I think because it provided an amazing "barrier of entry".
But now that I'm a bit older and in "professional" shares I am subject to the decision making of the landlord. And... you just can't rely on that. If it's a management company it's a bit better but... I dunno. Maybe it's just about good enough in that case or if the landlord is very good at choosing people.
So yeah... overall it's so turbulent especially in the professional shares.
I should be a lot more selective in future I think, or live in a different kind of accommodation (alone, with a friend, with a future gf and get banned from the site, etc!!).
I'd like to hear your experiences and opinions
