The USA's super carriers are obsolete

What the war in Ukraine and now the situation in Yemen is making apparent is that ships are very vulnerable to missile attacks and even simple technology like drones.

Even if a ship has some technology onboard like the iron dome anti missile system that Israel uses it still wont help when the enemy fires 3000 cheap low value missles that cost like 10K $ to produce but still at least 100 of those missiles will still get through and totaly wreck a ship thats costs billions to produce if not sink the ship completely.

Americas super carriers were their method of power projection. America could send an airforce 10X larger than their enemies airforce, lose 10% of the fighter jets and still the enmies infrastructure back to the stone age. Just 10-15 years ago everybody feared USA for this reason and this made USA powerful beyond belief but now those carriers are obsolete and if carriers are obsolete then even landing craft can be sunk before they even deliver troops to land in cases of invasion.

Haaa? America funded the development and even sent their own scientists to help the development? Then why not just make their own anti missile system if they already understand the basics because you said they sent their people over?

My understanding is we paid that additionally to the free "aid" we give them every year too, paid them specifically to develop the dome for our own usage and then they refused. Greatest ally!

Doubt they are ngl. They're billion dollar projects, it's not like they wouldn't have pretty much every air defense and precaution possible for a barrage of sandnig missiles. Apparently being upgraded too.

Duh of course they have every defence available. As I said Ukraine and Israel/Hamas has proven that some missles do get through. Out of 3000 missles fired at the same time at least 100 will get through and thats an excellent result because it will sink the entire ship and all the equipment on board like aircraft etc.
