Venting Today, I have decided to stop consuming all anime, manga (especially romantic stuff), hentai, porn, and all media involving romance/sex.

Romance anime is especially the worst, even more so when it’s high school and college and the worst when sex/virginity loss (in a tender and wholesome way) is involved.

K-On! isn’t too bad since it’s a CGDCT anime with pretty much no guys in it. The only depressing part about it is being reminded that you missed out on having deep friendships in youth.

she's just boring. i won't spoil it for you but there's this process she has to go through with a lot on the line, and she's just so useless during it, it's supposed to be her arc of finding herself or some bullshit, but the whole time i'm watching i'm constantly reminded of the fact that subaru could do it easily, but he specifically chooses not to so she can. sorry if that doesnt really make sense I tried to keep it as vague as possible, but if you already feel bad watching rem and emilia before, i would not recommend watching season 2. absolute suifuel moments.

I might be able to handle it if Subaru and Emilia never really develop beyond close friends though seeing her many times offer her lap as a pillow to him when he was feeling down or stressed out hurt to see since I know I’ll never experience that. I wish I could be so vulnerable with a girl.
