I would then move there and use my investments to create a conglomerate empire. At this point, I would have a lot of influence in the government so I would convince my government pals to co-finance a new urban development with me of which I will control most of the property in. I will then hire PMC trained security forces to protect the city by claiming the country is unsafe. This force will answer to me. I will then create a media network that will shill for me and promote contempt for the government.
After controlling public opinion whilst being a huge employer, I will become increasingly belligerent until the point comes where the government has to take action against me. However, I will use this as pretense to launch a coup with my PMC forces and put a dummy leader in control. The people will be indebted to this dummy for “freeing” them from corrupt leaders. I will then have this new dummy leader create a constitution that upholds classically liberal values while I hold real control behind the scenes and gobble up more industries.
In the final phase, I convince my patsy to ramp up military might and to start conquering poor neighboring nations and really and poor nation the developed world won’t care about. We’ll get sanctioned, but my cult of personality and rampant propaganda will satisfy would be assassins. After a while, I’ll set up my dummy to be the fall guy and sacrifice (snipe him so he can’t snitch) him while signaling to the developed world we are no longer belligerent. Buy a plot of land & set up some trailers or kit housing (like Japan had for tsunami victims) to let those here that will be homeless or are struggling stay for free, get some activities set up & hire hookers for those wanting to no longer be a virgin or just wanna fuck hookers. With the options available it'd be nice to give those of us that are isolated or have had a bad life a chance to be happy & belong for a change.

I'd probably finish up college, pay everything off, and then buy an okay house without ever having to have a job. Also would buy a couple of inexpensive, but nice cars. Would likely just do lowkey money giveaways on .co, $500 million is a lot of money, and someone would catch onto you if you were known to have that much anyways.
