I've had speech impediment since I was 6-7 years old, It's not that I pronounce certain letters or words wrong. It's just my overall way of talking that is different and weird. It's brutal cause people treat you differently. I don't really know if it's only in my native language or in English aswell.
I remember one time when meeting my oneitis when I was like 14-15 and I hadn't seen her in a longtime, she started making fun of how my voice had changed and how bad it was. I didn't get offended because she wasn't trying to be mean. My oneitis was always funny and nice.
Anyway my speech problem is another reason why I have avoided other kids my entire life.
Brutally enough my mom never even told me that I had been diagnosed with speech impediment until recently.
