Babyface problem

I wanted to ask if anyone shared the expirience being short and simultaneously having child's face. I am 23 and 168cm tall, but due to being f up by genetics I have a tendency to store fat in face like prepuberty kids. Everytime I try to buy am energy drink or cigarettes I am asked where is my mom or that they don't sell such stuff to kids. I am considering to learn wearing make up to mitigate this. Have anyone tried this? Do girls spot on such trickery?
