Around my early to mid teen years, i used to make costumes and props out of cardboard. I stopped doing this around age 15 - 16 though. As i got bored of it.
Now i am 20 and gonna get back into doing it. I used masking tape, spray paint, and of course cardboard. Currently i plan to make a full suit of medieval plate armor, out of cardboard.
I did a test on the gauntlet to see how i could do it, and the fact that it sort of worked is giving me the idea to make an entire suit.
I WOULD buy real armor, but i do not have thousands of dollars for that.
So i'm gonna make it homemade, then paint it silver, possibly give it a black wash to make it appear more like real metal, then both wear it and use it for display.
Will post pics when finished. Probably won't be done for a few months or so though
