It's called Back from Jupiter, it's about a man who was bullied all his life by his friends, at school, and by his father. Because he had a growth disorder, he had heart problems. He wanted to be a train driver growing up but couldn't, so he coped with buying toy trains, building his model boat, and listening to music.

Am not suprised to find a thread about trains and railbuffs here at all. People who are into trains (railfans) are actually known to be belittled by society and mainstream culture, mainly in the US and UK (there are actually articles written about it) and that many happen to suffer from Asperger's. It can be a pretty good cope though, getting your mind off your lack of social life, but you have to be by yourself where normies are unable to bother you (I've learned this the hard way)
