I miss the pre internet era for the socialization, it was a period where personal cellphone ownership wasn't that high to which people talked to each other more face to face instead of through a digitally electronic screen or medium. It wasn't perfect by any means, however compared to what we have now it was more desirable. Technology and its consequences or discontents.It's a nightmare being mogged by you. Difficult to put into words how much worse, almost every problem facing the west rn can be attributed to the internet at least partially
I have access to all the information in the world, but the internet is full of evil and fucked up shit, and is a breeding ground for degeneracy.
Despite increased inceldom in society it’s definitely made my life better. I wouldn’t have gotten laid without the internet anyway.

The world has had all the information of the world at their fingertips almost twenty years but instead of a majority self educating themselves they would rather seek other activities that have no higher significance whatsoever, and the few of us who have utilized this time in an underground fashion to learn about all the strings or puppeteers that control this world are now facing a severe backlash of total cyber digital censorship. Life is funny like that as it is also horrifying.
The 24/7 propaganda outlets and dissemination of false information or narratives for general consumption is a good start.

I'm not sure. Normalcattle having ready access to the internet bred a culture of social exhibitionism, everyone tries to flaunt their perfect lives and posts stuff that makes strangers give them validation, creating a global echo chamber conditioning cattle into hyper-conformity.
At the same time, though, the internet allows small tribes of intelligent people to form and to exchange ideas. In other words, the internet allows people to see through it all to cope by talking to like minded people, thus preserving their sanity in this mad world.
