I have a fear of saying something and then a few weeks or months later saying something contradictory or opposite and having someone bring it up. Its happened a few times relating to my politics and feelings towards my parents and every time it does I feel really nauseous and sweaty.

So you fear they will use what you say against you? Or you fear hypocrisy?

Everyone has an inherent fear of being wrong, which is why morons will use your own words to prove you wrong when you try to make an argument.

In spite of the fact people can change their views freely

I used to fear that as well until I decide just just say 'fuck it'. Many great thinkers changed their minds; that is a requirement for growth. You encounter new evidence and you change your mind based on that. You can't have all the information from the beginning and to stick to old unreasonable beliefs is wrong.

You can change your mind anytime and lots of decisions are based on emotions. You don't have to fear them

its rational for incels
