I had actually been suspecting for a little while now, that there was some sort of, I don't know what you'd call it, maybe reverse dichotomy, going on where even though whiteness for those at the top might be a great advantage to possess, the opposite might be true for those at the bottom, where it's a liability. You may have a point here, namely that it's like what the PUA's do. It's survivorship bias to some extent, we see all the successful JBWmaxxers but don't look at the full picture. How many people would actually immigrate to another country for love? How many don't just immigrate because they want a better life? Most people, even in poor countries, prefer to live with what is familiar, toilets are way more nationalistic and racist than men so they are even less inclined to leave their countries "for love".

That's a very good analysis, however with your Japanese example, I'm willing to argue that the main reason why the vast majority of non-White women who marry men of their own race or other non-White races is simply because there aren't enough White men for all ethnic women. Plus, White men having a thing for Asian women is nonsense. White men prefer White women the most.
You also have to take into account Oofy Doofy Theory, which is 100% true.
Many women nowadays look for a man to control. There's a book called "The beauty of dating ugly" or with a similar title by a FEMALE author who said that the main plus for women to date a non-NT/ugly/short/non-White man is because they will never cheat, because even if they wanted to, they could not.
You also have to take into account the fact that a relationship doesn't mean that said woman is going to marry and have children with this unattractive man.
