The worst kind of couple is those that are on and off and won't stfu about getting back with their ex. Literally every conversation "Oh I really care for him so still have a thing for him but but but". They'll repeat this shit in every fuckin conversation, I've heard it endlessly from my mums friends. If you don't care for him then why won't you stfu about him or her. And 9/10 this person has mistreated them or abused them in some way. Then the people around them shower them with comfort and validation "Awwww I'm so sorrrrryyy".

People love nothing more than to brag about their relationship, everywhere we turn people will not stfu about their partner or their ex even if its irrelevant to the conversation. I fuckin hate listening to it and there's no escaping it from work for instance. They cry about their abusive ex then say they love them then cry some more, it's relentless. It's so fuckin conceited and self centred to talk openly about a relationship yet people around them will lap it up and validate them, I ain't got time for that obnoxious drivel.
