As you know, people often tell us "you don't need relationships or sex to be happy".
Okay, let's assume that point of view is true.

If you live in the modern society and go outside, you will see couples holding hands; reminding you of the thing that you are supposed to forget.
You open your TV and see romantic TV shows and movies. You open the radio and you hear almost all of the songs are about love.
You really can't forget about relationships and sex even if you tried.
The only way you can forget them is to become completely isolated, never going outside.

The same has happened in the old times.
If you lived in a city or a town in those days, people would sing in the streets about love. You would have theaters with romantic acts.
The only way you could feel better is to become a hermit.


The only true way to ignore those feelings it to become a complete hermit, and not being part of the society. You can't contribute anything because that would mean you have to interact with people who will remind you of the things you are supposed to forget

I want to hermitmaxx some day. I sort of do already but I don't have courage or money to take the final step. Neeting outside of town is the next best thing, at least I don't see many people, only commuters driving to and from work. Poor bastards.
