We hear how females are attracted to "Bad Boys" and not nice guys. Are they attractive because they are bad boys or are they bad boys because they're attractive?
From a young age, we start to do a lot of questionable things as humans. For instance, a child takes his mom's phone and she's looking for it everywhere! She now asks the kid and he puts it behind their back and shakes their head left to right. Who taught them that? It's almost like it's natural to have negative traits.
Another example, is how kids are so judgemental. Let's say a parent and their kid is walking past a disabled person, the kid then just stares and might be so pissed off at the disabled's condition. It's the same thing when they see an ugly person. Of course, as they continue through life, school and other socializing instruments shape them into adults that mask these traits.
How does this apply to bad boys? The more attractive you are, the more you can revert to the negative traits within you. The more you get away with bullshit because of your beauty. Lying to your girlfriend and getting away with it. Flirting with every other woman while being in a relationship. Being abusive.
The girlfriend understands that she cannot afford to lose you as most guys around don't measure up attraction-wise. This gives you security and slowly you push and push your luck just like a kid would continue to misbehave as the parents wouldn't harm their little one.
