So I was watching some Mike Mew videos a few weeks back and today I noticed something. When I swallow with correct form, that is bringing the hyoid bone upwards and pressing the back part of my tongue on the back part of my palate (essentially 'push' swallowing) I don't hear the normal 'gulp sound'. You know the swallow sound someone makes when they gulp down a drink. So if you want to know whether you are swallowing correctly, if you don't hear anything I suppose you are doing it right.
Not like this isn't important either, apart from all the "mewing is cope bro" stuff, it affects soft tissue. Correct me if I'm wrong but the hyoid bone is supported by muscles that if not correctly used will sag the hyoid bone, which makes your jawline less visible and is an unattractive trait in both men and women.
