Unfortunately I don't have screencaps ATM, but I've seen a couple of times in the last few months some right-wingers/MRA (men's rights activists)/MGTOWers claiming that the growing celibacy of young males (aka the rise of Incels) is a direct result of the rise of third wave feminism, where any kind of typical male behavior (being flirty) is considered a sexual harassment, #metoo and such, that makes men too afraid to even make eye contact with women, even less approaching. While this isn't an entirely incorrect statement, they often completely disregard lookism and they miss the point of how hypergamy really works. They don't consider that a minority of men (Chads) are getting more sex than ever before, despite the way feminism "oppresses" "alpha" "cis-males". They don't consider that most women live on the Tutorial mode regarding sex, that nowadays any average female can get set up a date (for sex) with one of the top 20% of males within minutes on Tinder and similar dating apps.

The feminist movement is one huge Cope for females, most of the participants are either landwhales/ugly foids that are upset that Chads aren't into them (so they develop a hatred agains all men, despite their perception of masculinity corresponds to a minority of men) or dykes who got frustrated over men because their "personality detector" only "worked" for high T dudes (who turned out to be jerks), so every straight male must be evil and "women objectifiers", right?

In a culture where the family decides who the woman marries for the rest of her life, hypergamy simply does not exist. If in the current dating system Chads stopped giving validation to average females or stopped dating down overnight, it would also help to prevent hypergamy, but yeah, they shouldn't be blamed for it entirely.

In an idealistic world where looks didn't matter, they (TradCucks) could actually be right.
The thing is: we live in a world were the Meekspill is real. Were a man can be actually provided by a woman simply because he is attractive/has good genes. I'm specifically talking about the third wave feminism.
But even at time times the earlier feminist waves "blew" , there was no such a problem as Hypergamy. Average men and even sub5 men could still get laid often and date their looksmatch (and sometimes even above) normally. Even feminists themselves back then weren't nearly as degenerate, they didn't talk about abortion, their bodies, sex or masturbation all the time and didn't strip naked for "protesting", and didn't imply that getting approached by sub7 men was equal to Rape.
