You have to be really careful with forex trading. Same goes for pretty much any other market. If you do not have good risk management you can wipe out a huge chunk of your account in one trade. Also since the forex market is open most of the week 24 hours a day you are competing with banks, professional traders, and phd computer scientists all over the world who are trying to use algorithms to find anomalies faster than the average person could at home. An algo bot would probably be a safer solution as opposed to manual trading since upwards of 90% of manual traders lose money. That's not to say you can't supplement your income with it, but caution is advised since creating a model to reliably predict the market is impossible.
